6 hours - INDIVIDUAL ATTENDANCE ONLY. A WORKING CAMERA & MICROPHONE REQUIRED. This is 6 hour workbook-driven session with a 1 hour lunch break. Under Dept. Of Transportation CDL regulations, employers must designate and train a DER to act as a resource to the drivers about DOT and employer policies. The course covers mandatory drug and alcohol testing programs, and the responsibilities of the employer, the DER, third-party administrators, the MRO, and the driver. Recommended upon INITIAL ASSIGNMENT and retraining as needed for individuals assigned the role of DER. NOTE: This training covers the same content as our DER course given in 2023 & 2024. If you attended one of these previous sessions it is NOT REQUIRED you attend this webinar. Registration Suggested: Two (2) employees per town NO GROUP ATTENDANCE To replicate an in-person classroom as closely as possible, each student will be ‘on-camera’ during the class and will be asked to contribute to class discussions. **EACH student MUST have access to a computer or device with a WORKING CAMERA & MICROPHONE**. Participants will receive a workbook via email. Continuing Education Approvals: CPWM - 5.0 Management CEU Credits RMC - 5.0 Professional Development CEU Credits Water/Wastewater - 5.0 Safety TCH ** To maintain the integrity of the MSI classes and our ability to offer CEUs, we must abide by the rules of the State agency who issued the designation. Chief among those rules is the attendee of the class must attend the whole session. Attendees who enter the class more than 5 minutes late or leave early will not be awarded CEUs for the class or receive a certificate of completion.
