Safety Committee Best Practices
1.5 hours - A WORKING CAMERA & MICROPHONE REQUIRED. INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS ONLY. NO GROUPS.

This program will present the steps to developing and running an effective safety committee. The topics will include: designing and planning your committee, choosing members for your committee, the role of the committee members, effective meeting strategies, and establishing goals and objectives for the safety committee. The participants will be prepared to go back to their employer's facilities, and participate in the development and/or to effectively contribute on their local safety committee.

Training Frequency: Recommended upon initial assignment and as needed.

PLEASE NOTE: EACH student MUST have access to a computer or device with a WORKING CAMERA & MICROPHONE. To replicate an in-person classroom as closely as possible, each student will be ‘on-camera’ during the class and will be asked to contribute in class discussions.

** To maintain the integrity of MSI classes and our ability to offer CEUs, we must abide by the rules of the State agency who issued the designation. Chief among those rules is the attendee of the class must attend the whole session. Attendees who enter the class more than 5 minutes late or leave early will not be awarded CEUs for the class or receive a certificate of completion.
