Designated Employee Representative (DER) Training
Under Dept. Of Transportation CDL regulations, employers must designate and train a DER to act as a resource to the drivers about DOT and employer policies. This is 6 hour workbook-driven session with a 1 hour lunch break. The course covers mandatory drug and alcohol testing programs, and the responsibilities of the employer, the DER, third-party administrators, the MRO, and the driver.

Note that this training covers the same content as our DER course given in 2020. If you attended one of the 2020 sessions it is not required you attend this webinar.

In order to ensure workbooks are received in time for the class, registrations must be completed before September 10, 2021.
Registration Suggested: 2 Employees per town

The training will use the Zoom Meeting platform. Students must have access to a computer or device with a working camera and microphone. Students will be ‘on-camera’ during the class to replicate an in-person classroom as closely as possible.
