Fire Department Risk Management

2 hour - Fire Departments are involved in a high percentage of employment-related litigation and New Jersey is one of the most litigious states in the country. This training program is designed to identify and mitigate those risks. Leadership, policy development, social media, CEPA, and the Law Against Discrimination are a few of the topics covered in this training program.

This course is designed for Chiefs, Battalion Commanders, Captains, Lieutenants, and personnel who are in the process of being promoted to a supervisory position.


** To maintain the integrity of MSI classes and our ability to offer CEUs, we must abide by the rules of the State agency who issued the designation. Chief among those rules is the attendee of the class must attend the whole session. Attendees who enter the class more than 5 minutes late or leave early will not be awarded CEUs for the class or receive a certificate of completion.
