1.5 hours - Participants will develop an understanding of how implicit bias impacts the work environment. Individual stereotypes and unconscious beliefs can discourage employee participation in solving problems, thwart imagination, and lead to a reduction in organizational productivity. Additionally, when left unmanaged, such biases create a toxic work environment that may become unsafe while also fostering workplace discrimination allegations. Recommended upon initial assignment and retraining as needed for General Employees, Managers, Organization Leaders, and Human Resource Professionals. This course is not intended to serve as Implicit Bias Training for police officers.
